The second level of forms is going up to continue pouring concrete on what was poured last week. I suspect that the relatively mild weather we have been have (after the cold blast during Thanksgiving) has been a help to the construction, also.
I believe these footings, north of the temple proper are for the underground parking.
Can you tell that I am fascinated by rebar?
The amount of steel in the temple is simply amazing!
The "x" rebar above this opening in the south west corner is interesting. I suspect it is also to resist bending moments induced in the structure during ground movement (aka earthquakes).
