Multigrain Rice Porridge (Bubur Organik)

Hi there..... am still very busy and taking little bit of time to relax in the week-end after a whole week of hard work in the office - worked throughout lunch time and till late night.... and will be traveling and another busy coming week, so you will not be hearing much from me for another week or so.

Sharing a recipe herewith which is a good solution for busy working women to prepare healthy meal for the family. My Dutch colleague, Ramon gave me a packet of Organic Multigrain Rice which he highly recommended after I told him I dislike brown rice. He assured me this one is very tasty and I should cook it like white rice and serve with meat & veg dishes. However, I wanted to try something else - something similar to Bubur Asyura that my friend, CT gave me last time here, which she mixed her own grain and cooked using a slow cooker. I can still recall how delicious it was.
I just bought the slow cooker yesterday. Just dump all the ingredients in it at night & when you wake up first thing in the morning your breakfast is ready! That way I spent less time in the kitchen and have more time to relax and play with my little princess. More importantly, cooking in slow cooker will preserve the nutrients because foods do not evaporate - no loss of moisture and therefore healthy meal......!
I was kind of embarrassed when I learn from the label that it is product of Malaysia but introduced to me by a foreigner. The porridge was very delicious and will try to create something more from this product later when I'm less busy.
