Scottish DJ/producer Andy Duguid first featured "Skin & Bones" on his "After Dark Sessions 100" mix compilation. The collaboration with longtime friend and vocalist Julie Thompson now sees a long awaited single release including three brand new remixes.
Andy Duguid entered the scene with a bang in 2007 with "Hypocrisy". When Tiësto added Andy's hit singles "Don't Belong" and "Wasted" to In Search of Sunrise 6 and 7, he also offered the Scotsman a contract on Black Hole. The album "Believe" followed, leading to the mix compilation "Miracle Moments", recently followed up by "After Dark Sessions 100"; celebrating Duguid's world renowned podcast.
Whilst on Tiësto his Elements Of Life tour, a little seed was planted in Julie's head that perhaps it was time to concentrate on a solo project; a thought that led to the release of her album "Feeling For Corners". Singles like "It Only Hurts", "What Will I Do" all scored big time and new collabs were released like clockwork. Once again teaming up with Andy, Julie Thompson lifts "Skin & Bones" to another level.
"Skin & Bones" definitely has all the characteristics of a trademark Andy Duguid production, but features an undeniable, new flow and feel. Submerging the entire arrangement in a lush, Balearic arrangement, it is Julie's voice that adds the touching elements to the track, making for an outstanding DJ track. Grant Lewis and the Progressive Brothers roughed the original version up for the main rooms, while Zetandel's version opts for a relaxed sunset date on the shore.

Currently going full throttle with her debut mix compilation "Change The Game" and the subsequent single "NYCMIA" -which shot to the #8 in the Buzzchart on the day of its release-, Sydney Blu is steadily carving out her reputation as hardest working female artist in the industry. Her singles "Chemistry", "Another Late Night" (with MC Flipside) and “Change The Game” (with Damaged Goods, featuring vocals by FLICK) are still being hammered by fellow DJs the world over - as is the case with her hit "Nightlight", released earlier this year. JD is an artist, music producer and DJ. He remixed some of the world's biggest acts including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Will I Am, Kelis and many more. His productions under various pseudonyms have been released on labels spanning from Positiva, Ministry Of Sound, to Size, Stereo and Viva to name but a few. With an upcoming release on Calvin Harris Fly Eye "The Key" - and with JD working feverishly to wrap up a solo album project, he has started the year exactly as he means to go on.
Betsie Larkin has been a busy bee since 2011, having released three major singles and her new solo album "All We Have Is Now". Betsie's work in electronic dance music has been a whirlwind ever since her 2008 collaboration "Made of Love" shot to the top of the dance charts and was voted the 5th track overall in 2009 on Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance". In Above and Beyond's and Ferry Corsten's radio shows, the track even hit #1. Betsie has since worked with artists like ATB, Andy Moor, Gabriel & Dresden and her album "All We Have Is Now" features collaborations with John O'Callaghan, Ferry Corsten, Super8 & Tab, Lange, Bobina, Sied van Riel, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many others. The single“Obvious” with Lange was her last installment, preceded by "The Offering" with Sied van Riel. Now taking things up a notch with Sydney Blu.
In its original framework "Nightlight" already powered the clubs as an energetic progressive house track, highlighting attractive, trancy elements with a fierce tech edge to it. Add to that the serrated, roughed up tech-trance approach of Ido or the epic reworks by Santerna and Party Ghost and you know it's party time.
