The originals main lead is very catchy alongside the dreamy vocals, but it's Rakes thumping bass line that really provides that new and fresh club sound to make the beats go boom at the festivals this summer!

Young and perspective trance project Smart Apes (Aquile & TeeB, DJ IRA') appered not so long ago on our label with their EQuinox EP alongside Italian producer Amex. This time they have collaborated with Irish Trance duo Tucandeo who is currently riding the crest of a wave with massive production and remixes on labels such as Coldharbour Recordings, which has seen them get massive support by top name DJs. Illuminate is out 18/04/2013 Future Focus Recordings is the name of the newest venture of three EDM (Electronic Dance Music) veterans that have already kicked up quite a buzz. Dutch DJ/Producer Ernesto van der Meij, who had a legendary run as one half of Ernesto & Bastian, has joined forces with Aussies Stuart Matheson and Sasha Vatoff, who inhabit countless DJ bags around the world with their Trance project Binary Finary.

Marc's career began in the early days of hardcore, a style nowadays referred as old school. He created a firm reputation for himself by lining up various residencies at known clubs and festivals like Emporium Festival, Reloaded Festival, Summer Festival Nijmegen and Matrixx at the Park. He did remixes for W&W, Ernesto & Bastian, M.I.K.E, Tempo Giusto, Organ Donors, Andy Duguid and many, many more; his all time classic is still the unequalled "Forbidden City', which appeared in a new remix package not too long ago. Marc also delivered volume 18 of the famous In Trance We Trust series; his other releases for the imprint are "Stealth" and "Delusory Hopes". His previous single was a collaboration with Naomi Striemer, by the title "Out Of Sight"; this time Marc teams up with the lovely Emma Lock for "Angels".

Prolific singer/songwriter Emma Lock hit the Trance scene in 2010, wowing electronic dance music lovers with her angelic divine vocals, infectious melodies and flawless lyrics. With 18 releases so far, Emma Lock has worked with a number of established and upcoming DJs and producers. Tracks like "Hiding To Nothing" (with Beat Service) were included on "In Trance We Trust, Vol. 15" mixed by Virtual Vault and "Cut and Run" (also with Beat Service), was handpicked by Armin Van Buuren for his "In State Of Trance 2010". To date, track collaborations with Emma Lock feature on over 80 compilations; adding another gem to this long list with Marc Simz for the new "Angels".

"Angels" serves as the perfect backing track for Emma Lock's touching vocals. Marc Simz focused on an elaborate, trademark In Trance We Trust arrangement that breathes the atmosphere of classic trance anthems combined with the deep and moving elements that define a massive peak time DJ track. Steve Kaetzel teams of with Johnny Monsoon for this brand new single entitled "Winter" on the Magik Muzik imprint. Emma Lock was assigned for the vocal part.

Steve Kaetzel is rapidly rising through the ranks in the electronic dance music community. After studying piano, composition, and orchestration at the University of Kentucky, Steve began his career as a composer and sound designer for video games and short films. It wasn't until he received his first taste of dance music in the local club and rave scene that his obsession with electronic music production and DJing began to take shape. Moving westward to Seattle to pursue this new-found love, it was Black Hole Recordings who signed Steve to the Songbird imprint, where he released an EP with the titles "Black Opal" and "Something About This". His second EP, a collaboration with vocalist Brianna Holan entitled "So Alone," received instantaneous worldwide support with airplay on Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Day, Roger Shah's Magic Island, and Anjunabeats Worldwide. His remixes for such artists as Moonbeam and Zoo Brazil even made it to Tiësto's Club Life and Sander van Doorn's Identity. Steve's latest release, featuring the titles "Floe" and "Aurora" now, sees a brand new 2013 follow up with the single "Winter". On this new release, Steve works together with Johnny Monsoon; the vocals are performed by the fantastic Emma Lock.

"Winter" once again confirms Steven Kaetzel's goal to always bring melody and emotion to the dance floor, everything wrapped in an elaborate arrangement with plenty of subtle tech- and even electro elements. With a clear hint to classic ISOS productions, "Winter" definitely brings a touch of beauty to the clubs. Steve's collaboration with Johnny Monsoon works out perfectly for all DJs; Emma Lock's vocals being the icing on the cake.
