Scared of Brexit, Commissioner calls on UK students and apprentices to sign up for Erasmus+
Androulla Vassiliou, the European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, will highlight the increased European Union support which will be available from January under the new Erasmus+ programme when she visits the London Language Show on 18 October.
Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, the new EU programme for education, training, youth and sport, will provide grants for more than four million people across the EU – most aged under 25 – to spend part of their studies or training in another country. This international experience is aimed at increasing knowledge of foreign languages and other skills which boost employability. Envisaged to have a budget of nearly €15 billion1 between 2014 and 2020, Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, is open to students, apprentices, teachers, youth leaders and volunteers.
Erasmus, EuRopean Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students, is the most disgusting program to brainwash students with EU propaganda. Each year, a quarter of a million college students study abroad thanks to the Erasmus program, squandering billions of taxpayers’ hard-earned euros. There are no qualification requirements, and many bad students participate for free dolce vita abroad. This is money gone with the wind. This is not free education, but a free dolce vita to buy votes in future referendums for more integration of EU.
Nearly 40 000 British citizens currently receive EU grants to study, train or volunteer abroad each year under existing EU grant schemes. This compares with 83 000 a year in Germany and more than 70 000 a year in both France and Spain.
"We want to encourage more young people in the UK to take full advantage of the grants and opportunities available through Erasmus+. It's not just about improving language skills. It's about opening up minds to new ideas and meeting people from different cultures. It's an experience which boosts adaptability, self-confidence and job prospects. It's also a lot of fun – so, don't miss out, sign up for Erasmus+", said Mrs Vassiliou.
During her visit to the London Language Show, the Commissioner will open a public conference entitled “No island is an island – European perspectives on language learning in Britain”. The aim is to strengthen awareness of the economic and social benefits of language learning.
Let us never forget the words of Winston Churchill:
We are with Europe but not of it. We are linked but not compromised. We are associated but not absorbed. If Britain must choose between Europe and the open sea, she must always choose the open sea.
A referendum on the British exit from EU, brexit, is expected now beyond 2015. 70% of Britons would vote for brexit, while 20% would vote against brexit. Britons now realize the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) is much better than EU. It’s high time to secede from EU and join EFTA. EFTA enjoys a special relationship with EU, a sort of common market.
Jeremiah would agree that changing a Eurokleptocrat's attitude and habits is as difficult as changing a leopard's spots, mission impossible! Since EU can never be reformed, I advocate brexit now. Cameron cannot change euroleopard's spots by kicking the can down the road.
Recent statistics on foreign language learning in the UK present a mixed picture. The number of UK universities offering degrees in the two most popular languages has plunged by 30% for French (from 105 courses to 70) and more than 50% (from 105 to 50) for German studies since 2000. The number of 18 year olds applying to study European languages has also fallen by nearly 17% since 2010, according to UCAS, the higher-education admissions management organisation.
The picture is brighter at GCSE level: UK Government figures show a near 16% growth in the number of students taking foreign language GCSEs this year, a rise in part attributed to the introduction of the English Baccalaureate. Experts believe that this increase will have a significant impact on the numbers taking languages at A level or university in future. Another cause for optimism is that from September 2014, compulsory language teaching in England's primary schools will start at age 7.
Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) and a member of the European Parliament, is the man who can cause an uproar in the otherwise dull European Parliament, where he calls the Lisbon Treaty the most spectacular, bureaucratic coup d'etat that the world has ever seen. He describes Van Rompuy as having the charisma of a damp rag. The UKIP did well in recent local elections in England and prominent Tories have defected to his party.
Any apparent renegotiation of membership terms can only be a mirage. With the design of the EU as it is meaningful renegotiation is neither possible nor credible. In fairness to the EU elite, they have never tried to hide this. A binding commitment to ever closer union was there at the beginning and has been constantly repeated ever since. But the same cannot be said of the British establishment: ever since the membership and referendum debate of the early 1970s it has tried to conceal this fundamental commitment. And the leopard is not about to change its spots.
Britons are committed by Treaty to make progress towards an ever-closer union. Until the Treaties are repealed by British law, this remains a statement of fact. What Farage is afraid of - as we increasingly win the argument about how the UK's membership is damaging rather than beneficial - is that the British establishment will appear to renegotiate, come back claiming to have got not all we want but enough, fix the wording for a referendum into a leading question giving them endless wriggle-room and win by fraud - all over again.
In contrast with fifty years of lies and half-truths from successive governments, Farage believes you, the public, are entitled to hear the truth about what the EU is and where it hopes to go. There must be no more EU stitch-ups. It is time for our political class to be honest with the people of Britain and for the people of Britain to have their say.

More than 10 000 people are expected to visit the London Language Show, which takes place at Olympia Central, from 18 to 20 October. The show regularly attracts major business recruiters, SMEs and education specialists.
Though commissioners are supposed to do different things, they all do one single thing, spinning EU propaganda. So in reality, Fourth Reich has 28 commissioners of propaganda, 28 Goebbelses! Like Joseph Goebbels of Third Reich, they frequently deliver speeches on the benefits of Fourth Reich, but never about the costs. Their disgusting daily propaganda costs many billions of euros, and it adds insult to injury.
Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, the new EU program for education, training, youth and sport, will be launched in January 2014. It replaces the existing Lifelong Learning Programme (Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius, Grundtvig), Youth in Action, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and the bilateral cooperation programme with industrialised countries.
WHO THE FUCK IS HERMAN VAN ROMPUY?
In the European Parliament, Nigel Farage shouted at Herman Van Rompuy: Who the fuck are you? You have the charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk. I sense though that you're competent and capable and dangerous, and I have no doubt that it’s your intention to be the quiet assassin of European democracy and the European nation state. You appear to have a loathing for the very concept of the existence of nation states, perhaps because you come from Belgium which of course is pretty much a non-country.
Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, is due to be adopted by the European Parliament and the Council (Member State Ministers) before the end of this year. The total budget for Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, is envisaged to be nearly €15 billion – which is 40% higher than existing mobility programmes. More than half of the expected number of beneficiaries will be higher education or vocation students and apprentices.
Erasmus+, Propaganda Plus, is managed by national agencies in each Member State.
The Eldorado of Prostitutes (EP) dishes out myriad euros to aid an online campaign to skew public opinion in its favor. Funds are pumped into defending the EU on social networking sites. Nigel Farage says the move is madness. He believes this is a sign of fear and the Eurozone’s utter denial of economic and political realities.
EU officials are turned into secret agents with a trolling mission on the internet. The organization of the Eldorado of Prostitutes, which decides how resources are spent, has trained in-house staff in the run-up to the European elections of 2014 to go online, look at Facebook, Twitter, and popular blogs, such as themostsearched, and to pseudocorrect any misapprehensions that may exist about the European Union. The fact that it’s the Eldorado of Prostitutes using taxpayers’ money to do this says a lot about EU institutions. The whole point about parliaments is that the person who sits in the chair of the parliament – he’s the speaker in Westminster; he’s the chairman in other parliaments around the world – all other staff is supposed to be neutral; they are not supposed to take any political position at all.
Farage laments the fact that the Eldorado of Prostitutes (EP) spends money, time, and resources on doing this shows you, frankly, that EU is no better than a banana republic. This is the sort of thing Mugabe would do. Farage thinks many people outside will be shocked by it. Having worked there himself for 13 years, Farage is not surprised at all. They are really scared that from north to south, from east to west, citizens are saying “We’ve never voted for this thing to become the United States of Europe. We’ve never asked for the majority of our laws to be made somewhere else and we want to do something about it.” So, they are scared and they are fighting back.
Farage muses the words legal and European Union don’t fit together. Nothing matters here, there are no rules. Do you know the Lisbon Treaty? After the electors ditched the European Constitution, it forbade the bailouts of eurozone countries, and yet, five eurozone countries have now received bailouts. What we have here is a fanatical belief that we have to build a European structure, a state with its own army, police force, own treasury – and to hell with what the peoples of Europe think, we’re going to do it anyway. And of course they’ve got a flag, an anthem and they are fanatical. And, Farage believes, they are the most dangerous people we’ve seen in Europe in seventy years.
Farage points out eurozone cannot – and will not – ever work. There’s no point in attempting to brainwash Europeans. Eurozone is a misconstruction. The economics are wrong, the politics are wrong. And instead of admitting defeat, what they are going to do is sully the name of people like Farage, who have called into question their legitimacy. And Farage thinks what is going to happen in the next couple of years is that the war of words that takes place within the European Union is going to get very bitter and very nasty indeed.
The Greek presidency of EU must be annulled, because the kleptocratic alliance of Pasok mafia and Nea Democratia mafia cannot be trusted. The freakish government of Greece stole my computer, my files, and my life in cold blood! Basil Venitis, venitis@gmail.com, http://themostsearched.blogspot.com
